MARYLAND TELEHEALTH POLICY
Maryland Telehealth Interest Group: MATRC sponsors a Maryland Telehealth Basecamp Group - a collaborative space for individuals who live and/or work in telehealth across Maryland. The group is designed to foster real-time connections, allowing members to share challenges, creative solutions, best practices, policy updates and more. To join the Basecamp group, sign up here and select "Maryland Telehealth" from the list.
Leadership for this group is provided by the Maryland State Office of Rural Health. Virtual meetings are held quarterly on the first Friday of January, April, July and October. If you prefer not to join the Basecamp group but would still like to attend the quarterly meetings, meeting details are available on the Maryland State Office of Rural Health website.

- Maryland Health Professions Licensing Boards: Maryland has exceptions to its licensure requirements in statute for provider consultations, sports physicians, physicians employed by the federal government, and for certain services if the service meets particular requirements. Maryland also has an expedited licensure pathway for certain out-of-state physicians.
