There are several sources for telehealth courses and certificate programs.  This list will focus on those being offered either within the MATRC Region or available nationally online:

  • Harborview Behavioral Health Institute. A free monthly webinar training series is offered the third Friday of each month from 2 PM - 3 PM ET, with accredited on-demand sessions also avaiable.  The series are for all levels of behavioral health providers, from "101" to "501" level courses.
  • NCI Telemental Health Services Credentialing:  The Board Certified-TeleMental Health (BC-TMH) credential was created to ensure safe and effective practices for mental health professionals working in a variety of disciplines. NCI has been qualified by the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE) as a Registered Credential Training Provider. Our training course will prepare you to test and obtain the BC-TMH Credential.
  • Telehealth Certification Institute offers hundreds of online courses, certification programs, webinars and-in-person trainings.  The primary focus of these courses are topics of mental/behavioral health relevance.
  • Telehealth Classroom is hosted and facilitated by the Northeast TRC and the Collaborative for Advancing Rural Excellence and Equity.  There are many offerings in their course catalog.  Courses are free, but registration is required.
  • Telehealth.org has developed a large course catalog of CME.CE courses covering a variety of telehealth topics and formats.  There is a fee associated with the courses.
  • Telehealth Village is a virtual community of telehealth and clinical experts creating a comprehensive platform for telehealth education.  These courses educate physicians, nurses, administrators, IT teams and policymakers with engaging, interactive content.  This is a collaboration between the University of Virginia (UVA) Karen S. Rheuban Center for Telehealth, MATRC and the UVA Office of Continuing Medical Education and the CITI Program.
