The Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center (MATRC) develops tools, provides guidance and lends expertise to support the growth and sustainability of telehealth programs - especially for providers serving rural communities and areas with limited access to high-quality care.
Here’s how MATRC can assist you:
Technical Assistance & Consultation
- MATRC Staff offer expert guidance on telehealth reimbursement, policies, technology, operations, workflows, and program development. In addition to MATRC staff, we collaborate with a network of Consultative Service Partners who bring specialized expertise in:
- Remote monitoring
- eConsults
- School-based telehealth
- Correctional telehealth
- Telemental health
- And other clinical and operational domains
- What Can You Expect from Consultative Service Partners? Our partners provide individualized or group technical assistance through
- Phone or videoconference consultations
- Email-based support
- In-person meetings
- Presentations and trainings
- Site visits
Priority, no-cost support is available to HRSA grantees, including Federally Qualified Health Centers and Federal Office of Rural Health Policy grantees. Other organizations within the MATRC region may also access up to 10 hours of Tier 1 Technical Assistance (TA) per year, which includes:

- Access to non-proprietary program materials
- Guidance on program structure, funding, best practices and lessons learned.
- Recommendations on technology requirements, workflows, policies and procedures.

If your organization requires support beyond this level, MATRC Consultative Service Partners can provide extended, project-specific assistance through flexible, reduced-fee contractual arrangements.
