Mission
The Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center (MATRC) was established as a regional Telehealth Resource Center (RTRC) in September 2011 with the mission of advancing the adoption and utilization of telehealth and telehealth best practices within the MATRC region as a way to facilitate access to quality health care in rural and underserved communities and populations; and to work collaboratively with the other federally funded TRCs to accomplish the same nationally.
